 A few short weeks ago I was able to capture some pictures of my niece, Faith, for her 4 week "birthday", and we even snuck some generation pictures in there as well with both Great Grandma's on the Zenk side

Project 365 | April 19th-25th

Did winter come back for a week? Brrr!! Mother nature sure knows how to fool us. We had our furnace shut off for almost two weeks and had windows open, only to come home from work early last week to read 52 degrees on the thermostat! Anyways, let's get back to the real reason for this post...weekly photos!! My Kindergartners at church planted flowers for Earth Day and our "Seeds are Good" lesson plan. Just like Jesus dying and rising again, seeds die so flowers and other plants can grow. It was a great learning activity and also very fun for them!

 My new lens arrived just in time at the end of the week for a 1 month old baby session, and boy did I have fun playing around with it. Since I'm a sucker for landscapes, nature and wildlife photography, I decided to add a wide-angle lens to my collection. The last three images were taken with the new lens. Can anyone guess what it is? I'll help you out :)

What a fantastic week last week! Beautiful weather was finally here, there's new faces around the farm, and Derek and I were getting the fishing itch bad (which is pretty easy to cure where we live), so we headed out for what we consider a date night to our spot for an evening of fishing and relaxing. Sorry not sorry for all of the sunset images, they were too beautiful not to share with you!

New York Trip & Project 365 | April 5th-11th

I hope everyone had a happy and blessed Easter this past week filled with lots of family and loved ones! Our family is expanding by one and there is yet again another Zenk wedding in the future! Derek's brother Danny proposed to his girlfriend, Kaela Fagerland, on Easter morning with a special Easter egg hunt and are now planning a wedding for June 2016. On another note, my sister Leslie and I were able to spend Easter out in Buffalo, NY with our other sister Tara and her family, and enjoyed some much needed play time with her kiddos, Max & Quinn :)
