Can you believe today is the last day of 2014? I sure can't. It seems like we say this every year, but in my opinion 2014 was the fastest year of my life...so far anyways! And what a year it has been.
So I've been a little behind on my blogging..whoops! I was fortunate enough to head back to Minnesota to be with family over Christmas, and got to meet my new niece, miss Quinn Margaret and she is as sweet as they come!
Anyways, now that the holidays are over, it's time to buckle down again and get back into blogger mode. Starting in 2015 (yikes!), I will begin posting the pictures I have been working on, new recipes I have tested on my husband, DIY crafts and more! I hope you follow me along the way. This is a new beginning for me and I can't wait to see where "Rustic Edge Designs" takes me! Cheers to 2015!

Beautiful Chaos
Playing around with shutter speeds this afternoon. I adore our red and blue Christmas lights, so documenting their beauty was a must. I love what a slower shutter speed does to lights.

The Next Chapter
About a year ago I started a blog, played around with it for awhile, and needless to say, I quit. At the time, I was needing something to put all my thoughts onto, and then got to caught up with life! A lot has changed for me in the last 8 months. It's like my life has literally been a book, going through chapter after chapter...I graduated from South Dakota State University in May with my Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture, got married in June to my amazing Derek, moved to the quaint but growing town of Webster, SD and started a full time job in July as a Sales & Marketing Specialist for a local co-op. PHEW!! I'm new to blogging, I'll admit it, but I hope this blog will be a place for me to share thoughts, laughs, my newly found photography business "Rustic Edge Designs" and everything else in between. Let's see how I do :-)
